Raimonda Masalskienė, the manager of the Culture Factory, said that “it’s so nice to come to this space, which until recently was used as an auxiliary storage space with a small staff gym. Now it is a high quality, modern space that we are proud of and want to show off to visitors to the city.”

During the event, the participants were introduced to the works “Creation of the Worlds” and “Trail of Angels”, which are based on Čiurlionis’ works and which are shown at the Centre for the Arts of the Senses, and which allow the viewer to immerse themselves in the magical world of Čiurlionis’ work. After the screening, participants actively shared their emotions, experiences and personal interpretations.

Romena Savickienė, Director of Klaipėda Tourism Information Centre, emphasised that “Klaipėda is visited by tourists from all over the world – from neighbouring Latvia to the most distant exotic countries, and each guest has different expectations, so such interactive, universally understandable experiences are very valuable. It is important that services are delivered in different languages and are accessible to people of all ages. I believe that the interest of tourists in this way of experiencing art will definitely grow in the future and I am glad that we can already offer this kind of entertainment to the city’s visitors in Klaipėda.”

Lukas Verpetinskas, Strategic Producer for Development in Lithuania, interacted with the guests during the event and highlighted: “This is a great opportunity to introduce foreign tourists to Klaipėda with an activity that is suitable for visitors of different ages and languages. It is a modern and innovative way to get to know our country’s most famous artist, Čiurlionis.”

The event at the Culture Factory has become an important step in bringing together the tourism, cultural and creative industries communities to create an inclusive, modern and attractive Klaipėda for an international audience.
