Not only beauty news, but also a technological innovation attracted a lot of attention at the Cinderella exhibition at the Litexpo exhibition centre last weekend.A virtual realityexperience “Creation of the Worlds” was presented to the audience, complemented by multisensory solutions: wind, heat and vibrations.
For all three days of the exhibition, there were queues at the stand, giving visitors the opportunity to experience, free of charge, how state-of-the-art technology blends with classical art.

Not just a look, but a feel
Unlike the usual VR experience, this version of the Creation of the Worlds directly affects the human senses. If the visitor sees the sun on the screen, they feel warmth; if there is a storm, they are greeted by a gust of wind. This solution has been very well received: visitors have shared that the physical elements help them to completely detach from their surroundings and immerse themselves in the visions of Mikolaj Konstatin Čiurlionis.
Austėja Staniulevičiūtė, the project manager, stressed the importance of direct contact with visitors:
“We are delighted to be involved in the exhibitions, as it is the best opportunity to engage with an even wider audience – to remind some of us and to introduce others to this project for the first time. But the most motivating thing is that visitors come back again and again to relive the same emotions.”

The team members have noticed a growing interest in interactive art. According to Deivydas, the administrator of the Art Sense Centre, such events help to reach people who may be less likely to visit museums but are interested in innovation:
“It is great to see people coming to the exhibition from all over Lithuania. This allows us to spread the message about M. K. Čiurlionis even more widely and to show that his work is relevant and modern in today’s context.”
Innovation that changes the rules
Virtual reality projects such as ” Trail of Angels” or ” Creation of the Worlds” are becoming the new standard in the cultural sector. Matas, the administrator of the Art Sensory Centre, is convinced that multisensory is something that will become an integral part of quality content in the future.
“We go beyond the image – we create a complete experience. The fact that people waited patiently in the queues only proves that this kind of experience is particularly relevant and necessary today.”

The creators say that soon the audience will be able to see not only an excerpt from the Creation of the Worlds, but also the whole experience, enhanced by multisensory Their aim is to make art closer to everyone: not just seen from the side, but experienced through the senses – through sound, movement, heat or wind.
