A unique experience at Vilnius Book Fair

At this year’s Vilnius Book Fair, visitors could immerse themselves not only in the world of literature, but also in the new experiences opened up by technology. At the largest book fair in the Baltics, the Virtual Reality Experience team presented an 8-minute excerpt from The Creation of the Worlds, complete with multisensory elements.

The experience allowed visitors not only to watch the virtual narrative, but also to feel it. This time, the VR journey was enriched with vibrations, which further enhanced the engagement and provided an additional physical sensation. In this way, the audience could not only see and hear the world being created, but also experience it – become active participants in the journey, creators of worlds.

According to the team at the Trail of Angels, the Book Fair is a great place to show how stories can be experienced as well as told.

“It’s great to be part of such a big event and to see the reactions of the participants. It’s great to know that more and more people have at least heard of us, and it’s even more gratifying to see visitors coming back to experience the trip again,” said Deimantė Pigulevičiūtė, HR Manager.

The virtual reality experience was presented at the book fair together with the Rimantas Kaukėnas Support Foundation, which aims to inspire and help seriously ill children and their families.

“Our whole team is delighted to be part of such a wonderful initiative. We admire what this foundation is doing and we believe in their values,” said project manager Austėja Staniulevičiūtė.
