A painting from the “Trail of Angels” virtual reality experience, based on motifs from M. K. Čiurlionis’s work — “Demon.”

“Demon” portrays a solitary, winged being standing on a staircase between towering buildings, as if between worlds—sky and earth, light and shadow.

It is a symbol of inner struggle and spiritual transformation. This figure is not an embodiment of evil, but a reflection of the human soul, holding both the power to create and to destroy. The contrast between the colors of sky and earth creates a dramatic yet harmonious tension, reminiscent of Čiurlionis’s cosmic painting.

The artwork is printed on high-quality natural canvas, stretched over a sturdy wooden frame with a hanger on the back, so it can be hung on the wall right away. The canvas (380 g/m²) captures all the tonal and light nuances of the original, preserving a deep, balanced contrast.

“Trail of Angels – Demon” is a Čiurlionis-inspired interpretation that speaks of human duality, strength, and trial. It is a work that invites reflection and lets you feel the power of light even in the darkest silence.
