For the third summer in a row, the virtual reality (VR) experiences that have captivated all of Lithuania and garnered international recognition are returning to the country\u2019s summer capital, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the magical world of Mikalojus Konstantinas \u010ciurlionis. From June 19 until the end of summer, vacationers and locals are welcome at the Palanga Concert Hall, where two unique and immersive art experiences await them: \u201cTrail of Angels\u201d and \u201cCreation of the Worlds.\u201d <\/p>\n\n

The fact that this project is taking place at the Palanga Concert Hall for the third summer in a row proves that VR\u2019s encounters with the works of M. K. \u010ciurlionis have become an integral part of a high-quality seaside vacation and the cultural life of the resort town.<\/p>\n\n

The organizers are delighted that, following the highly successful #PoLietuv\u0105 tour, Palanga is once again the place where visitors can enjoy the longest\u2014a full two and a half months\u2014of virtual reality art.<\/p>\n\n

Two different yet complementary experiences<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The VR work \u201cTrail of Angels\u201d has already become something of a calling card for this project\u2014visitors often mention the sense of peace, contemplation, and inner harmony they experience, which blends particularly well with the relaxing spirit of the sea. Meanwhile, \u201cCreation of the Worlds\u201d offers a more intense engagement with art: here, the viewer transforms from a passive observer into an active participant in the creative process, wandering through the spaces of the genius\u2019s paintings. <\/p>\n\n

For a Deeper Understanding \u2013 An Educational Introduction<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

To ensure that visitors have the most immersive experience possible, the organizers have prepared a special introduction. It is an educational narrative that helps visitors more easily decipher the mystical symbols of M. K. \u010ciurlionis and understand his philosophy and emotional context. This preparation allows visitors to experience the works on a much deeper and more personal level. <\/p>\n\n

Virtual reality sessions will take place at the Palanga Concert Hall from June 19 to August 30. Tickets for the screenings can be purchased on-site or online. <\/p>\n\n
