From November 11 to December 20, visitors to the Marijampol\u0117 Cultural Centre are invited to immerse themselves in the exceptional virtual reality experience Creation of the Worlds. This is the latest work by directors Kristina Buo\u017eyt\u0117 and Vitalijus \u017dukas, offering a renewed encounter with the genius of Mikalojus Konstantinas \u010ciurlionis and the world of his art.This experience is not merely a look at the artist\u2019s works \u2014 it is a true journey through time, sound, and sensation. <\/p>\n\n

After a successful journey through more than 60 Lithuanian cities and towns, the #PoLietuv\u0105 project has arrived in Marijampol\u0117, where for over a month residents and visitors can experience a metaphysical odyssey through the paintings of Mikalojus Konstantinas \u010ciurlionis.<\/p>\n\n

The VR journey recreates works such as Creation of the World, The City, The Flood, Serpent Sonata, Fairy Tale, and The Tale of the Kings. The musical environment is enriched with interpretations by composers Rokas Zubovas and Phil Von, as well as soundscapes created by Vytis Puronas.<\/p>\n\n

Marijampol\u0117 Mayor Povilas Isoda did not hide his impressions after visiting this experience.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cThis is great Lithuanian art and a creator we can truly be proud of. In this project, his work has been reimagined in a contemporary and modern way. I don\u2019t think I\u2019ve seen such an immersive product before,\u201d said P. Isoda with enthusiasm. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n

The Mayor emphasized that certain scenes in this VR journey created a particularly strong emotional impact.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cAs you approach the moment of the creation of the world, the music truly takes over \u2014 the high notes and a sense of euphoria wash through your body. That moment is the most uplifting, as if you were inside the painting itself,\u201d he shared his impressions. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n

A meaningful journey<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The #PoLietuv\u0105 project coordinator Aust\u0117ja Staniulevi\u010di\u016bt\u0117 emphasized that this experience is designed for everyone.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cWe are very proud to present this project in Marijampol\u0117. We believe the experience will captivate both adults and young people. We invite everyone to come, feel the world of M. K. \u010ciurlionis, and see his work in a truly distinctive way,\u201d emphasized A. Staniulevi\u010di\u016bt\u0117. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n

After the experience, the Mayor of Marijampol\u0117 noted that this journey not only opens up a new perspective on the work of M. K. \u010ciurlionis, but also reminds us how important it is to rediscover our own culture and its creators. According to him, projects like this encourage people to pause, reflect, and truly feel what it means to be part of this country. <\/p>\n\n

\u201cEach of us needs to experience, explore, and understand our country\u2019s creators more often. This experience allowed for deep immersion without any external distractions \u2014 guided solely by visuals, sound, and emotional feeling. I am leaving with a strong sense of pride in being Lithuanian and in having had such creators,\u201d emphasized P. Isoda. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n

He also encouraged local residents not to miss this opportunity.<\/p>\n\n

An exclusive opportunity for school students<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The creators of the project aim to ensure that the younger generation can also discover the world of Mikalojus Konstantinas \u010ciurlionis. For this reason, the educational experience Creation of the Worlds has been included in the Kult\u016bros pasas (Cultural Passport) program. <\/p>\n\n

\u201cNot everyone visits galleries \u2014 especially when thinking about today\u2019s younger generation. This project, however, is adapted in a very modern way,\u201d shared Povilas Isoda, Mayor of Marijampol\u0117. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n

Tickets and gift vouchers can be purchased online at angelutakais.lt\/marijampole<\/a> or on site during the event. The number of places is limited, so organizers recommend purchasing tickets in advance. <\/p>\n\n

This year, the project visited more than 60 Lithuanian cities and towns and has already been experienced by over 100,000 people from Lithuania and abroad.
